Genevieve “Hadie” Henry

DESIGNER & PRESERVATION STRATEGIST

Genevieve “Hadie” Henry is an interior architect and preservation advocate whose work celebrates the connection between people, place, and history. Based in Springfield, Missouri, she serves on the City of Springfield’s Landmarks Board and began her nonprofit journey with the Rountree Council for Preservation, where she helped coordinate the organization’s highly successful Historic Homes Tour and strengthen local appreciation for historic neighborhoods.

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Interior Architecture, Hadie founded Frisco + Fin, a design practice dedicated to thoughtful restoration and adaptive reuse. Her work focuses on revitalizing existing spaces while honoring their stories, craftsmanship, and sense of place.

Her passion for preservation was first sparked in the living rooms of family homes and deepened one summer in the ruins of a forgotten Italian farmhouse, where she realized how profoundly architecture shapes the human experience. Beyond her work, Hadie loves exploring thrift stores, gardening, and adventuring—whether on motorcycles, hiking trails, or floating Ozarks waterways—and she’s happiest gathering friends around a dinner table filled with good food and conversation.
