Haley Frizzle-Green, MLIS
ARCHIVIST & PRESERVATION HISTORIAN
Haley Frizzle-Green began her public service career as a librarian at the Springfield-Greene County Public Library. After graduating with a master’s in library and information science from the University of Missouri—Columbia, she transitioned to archival work. As an archivist for the State Historical Society of Missouri, Haley works hard to collect and preserve materials related to southwest Missouri’s history for future generations. With over 8 years of experience as an information professional, she is no stranger to providing folks with helpful resources.
Haley is passionate about preserving the region’s history and assisting those who hope to do the same. Through exhibitions, public programming, and published works, she is always looking for ways to bring history to others. You can also find Haley on the radio, where she produces and hosts “Stories from the Archives,” a monthly program on KSMU’s public radio station. Outside of work, Haley enjoys traveling with friends, horseback riding, and walking Phelp’s Grove Park with her husband and dog.
